Artificial Grass Back Garden Installation

A lawn CPR was needed to save this treasured family space & our team surgeons cleared the decks for action and a beautiful green artificial lawn was transplanted replacing the old. Our installers start by removing the old and disposing of it at our site.

They then reach the desired depth with our turf cutting machine and begin the task of preparing a firm subbase for the new lawn. A geotextile weed base is introduced and installed to stop weeds growing up through the Crushed stone and Granite dust subbase.

These layers are the tried and tested ingredients that are then compacted into place to stop any chance of subsidence. The Granite dust layer is preferred as unlike the Sharp sand used by other companies does not sink when wet causing puddles on the new lawn a perfect firm surface for the new artificial grass to be installed.

This is held in place with sandbags while the installers skilfully shape the new lawn and fit it to the new timber skirting on the fencing so nothing comes through from the neighbours garden, potentially contaminating the new lawn.

Kiln-Dried sand is spread evenly over the new fake lawn and brushed into the pile. We finish by a gentle hosing and cleaning of the whole area.
