Recent Eighton Banks Artificial Grass Installation

Let’s not forget for the rugby European Cup, a fantastic fan zone was created on the quayside for the fans to flock to, and now this pub outdoor beer garden in Eighton Banks, Gateshead, has been transformed from having a dull decking enclosure to a lush green haven for its customers.

The problem with decking is that it can grow a carpet of moss which, when wet, becomes very slippery, leading to spilled drinks and or potential injury when customers have had a couple of drinks.

Even in the summer, this can be hazardous, which could lead to compensation claims for the business. This is where Artificial Grass Northeast came in. How fantastic does this beer garden now look? The chosen grass was from our event range.

This grass is exceptionally hard wearing and great for its longevity. This was a dry install using a spot glue process to fix the grass to the decking but allows easy maintenance to keep clean and for the rain to drain away.

The grass is shaped and cut to fit, even on the step, which also creates a virtually nonslip exit for the customers but also looks very good. The nice thing about this outdoor area is it now fits well with the surrounding green space behind it and looks very natural.

The customers can relax in a nice outdoor area any time of year, and for the business owner, it is easy to maintain and manage. Our customer is delighted with the finished article, as are the customers.
