Recent Hebburn Artificial Grass Installation

So Easigrass were called to the rescue and what a rescue this is. 65m metres of lush lawn using our beautiful Chelsea grass, no wonder it’s won the gold award at the Royal Chelsea Flower Show.

We prepared a new sub base for the lawn by removing the old turf and topsoil down to the required depth using our turf cutters to get an even cut and a level surface. We take everything away so there is no mess left for our customers.

Our installers then go about installing a new base which comprises of firstly a geotextile weed barrier as no-one wants weeds coming up through the new artificial grass.

Then we install the sub base which is made of crushed stone (dolomite) and granno dust (fine granite tailings) which unlike sharp sand will not sink or give under foot. This is all compacted and leveled off ready for the fitting of the Easigrass. The team roll the new lawn in place and join the seams where needed.

With a last layer of kiln dried sand being spread evenly on the surface and then brushed into the base evenly the whole garden is hosed and cleaned down leaving a stunning artificial lawn that everyone can enjoy and the peace of mind of an 8-year guarantee means a thumbs up and paws down for this happy family.
