Recent Yard Artificial Grass

These things may well be true, but more and more people are contacting us who own homes with no garden, just a rear yard. This family, like many, have young children and simply wanted a safe play area. Parents do not want to deal with scraped knees and banged heads when the sun is out, and the kids are in the backyard, but these are commonplace. What are the solutions?

Some may say don’t let the kids play in the yard. This is not something the team at Artificial Grass North East would ever suggest and is not practical. The paving down here needs to be blinded & the installation team uses granite dust for this.

For added protection for little heads, we can also put down a shock pad, but this was not an option for this customer, and to be honest, the pile on our award winning grass the customer did choose because it’s so thick and lush while having a natural cushioning quality.

So the team put in a timber frame before granno dust. The granno dust is compacted into place before the artificial grass is rolled out and held with sandbags before being cut, shaped, and pinned to the timber edging.

The nearly invisible joint is completed using a joining strip & strong bond adhesive. The grass is given an even layer of silica sand and mechanically brushed deep into the pile, and grey slate is put into the border around the lawn. The Jemond artificial grass is then cleaned and presented to the happy family to be inspected.
